Corporate Account Executive
B & L Telephone was started in 1983. We have been providing communication solutions to customers in North and South Carolina for over 41 years. We sell, configure, service, and maintain Communication Solutions (hosted, hybrid solutions, SIP trunks, etc.. This also gives us other opportunities with our customers for headsets, Conference Solutions, Paging including Class Connection for education, Point to Point bridges and WiFi Access Points We do this through a wide variety of products for structured cabling, hosted telecommunication equipment. If you need service on an existing system or would like to discuss a new solution from a few phones to an IP unified communication server we have the solution and expertise.
The Account Executive focuses on acquiring accounts in a B2B target market through an aggressive no-nonsense sales approach, to quickly understand needs, issues, and strategies so an appropriate solution bundle can be deployed.
- Accountable for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas, and building new revenue by selling telecommunications products and services to small and mid-market (SMB) accounts
- Manage a sales funnel to maximize the opportunity to meet goals and objectives mutually established.
- Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, and provide prompt follow-up to all customer inquiries
- Must be organized and maintain accurate records on daily activities and results
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years acquisition/hunter
- B2B sales experience
- Strong oral and written communication, analytical, problem solving skills
- Aggressive follow-up and closing skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) and other software applications
- Ability to talk/negotiate with C-Level
- Ability to manage sales funnel
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record
- Ability to multi-task with sense of urgency in a dynamic and fast pace environment
- Active listening skills to identify sales opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated, consistent record of success in an acquisition/hunter sales role
- Telephony, SIP Trunking and Hosted VOIP
- Experience developing, researching, and presenting formal proposals to senior level management and other key stakeholders
- Demonstrated skills with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Ability to manage pipeline of opportunities to completion
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close opportunities rapidly
- Familiar with local marketplace, companies, and communities in geography stated above
- Demonstrated success in a changing and high-paced environment
Compensation
- Full Time working Hybrid
- Competitive salary will be based on experience
- Base Pay plus commissions paid from individual sales and recurring revenue

Telecommunications Technician
Basic Qualifications
- Candidate will have basic Telephony knowledge
- Familiar with and ability to troubleshoot telecom IDF and MDF frames
- Running, terminating, and testing of voice and data cables.
- Knowledge of NEC or other PBX systems and IP products a plus
- Basic computer skills, to include but not limited to, connecting and programming IP devices, work with browser-based software
- Willingness and ability to learn multiple platforms
- Good communication skills
- Must have a valid NC driver’s license in good standing
